TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that range is solid.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
